Is it Caturday yet?

Okay, we have good news and bad news. Which one do you want first?

Let's start with the good news. The good news is that it's already Friday. The bad news is that we still have 7 hours and 59 minutes until it's the weekend. And those 7 hours and 59 minutes are the most excruciating hours of the whole week. Seconds feel like minutes, minutes feel like hours, and hours feel like days. You're sure you're getting so much done, time is flying, and then you look back at the clock, and only 20 minutes have passed. 

Well, two can play that game. It's time (pun intended) to fight fire with fire.

If the clock is going to enter this truly purrposterous phase, then we'll do the same by enjoying the most pawsitively ridiculous felines to help us fast forward to the weekend.   • Does anyone else remember when weekends used to be fun? Now our weekends are filled with cleaning, errands, and other chores. They purractically feel like work days. Where did we go wrong? How can we go back to the days when we used to sleep in until noon, go out with friends until the wee hours of the meowrning, and make new memories? All we seem to manage nowadays is finish a Netflix series and fold our never-ending pile of laundry.

  • This is us if you ask for an ice cream cake for your birthday. Seriously? An ice cream cake? We've never had an ice cream cake that was actually tasty. It's always a letdown, unless you're around 8 years old. You're an adult, act like one. Ask for a chocolate cake with canned icing like the rest of us. At least it actually tastes good.

  • This is why we love cat people, they'll always think up the most ridiculous names for their cats. Dog people will name their dogs “Spot”, or “Henry”, whereas cat pawrents will name their cat “Lord Montague”. Best decision ever.
