The will to live of a dog is something far stronger than we could have ever imagined, and this story is one example of the many that show what a dog is capable of when they need to hold on to every last breath.

We often joke about the intense food related needs of pregnant people. But the truth is that nutrition while being pregnant is super important for both the mother and her babies. But what happens when that poor mother has been dumped on the street and left to fend for herself and her four, as yet unborn babies? Well, you end up with a situation that truly boggles the mind as somehow, with all the odds stacked against her, she manages to pull through.

Sure, when her soon to be new hoomans found her she was in terrible shape which only got worse post pregnancy. But with her sheer will to keep going, this story tells the tale of the mother doggo who would not let harm befall her puppies and managed to give birth to four healthy offspring despite almost not making it herself. An inspiring tale of doggo determination.

  • In our plush hooman world, being as hungry as this Husky must have been is a concept that we are simply not familiar with. To be so close to not being able to take another step all because you are so malnourished is an excruciating existence. But lucky for this pupper she will not have to content with bottomless hunger of this kind any longer. Though she does still have to hop the hurdle of giving birth before she is totally out of the woods. How have those puppies been surviving inside of her with no food?

  • Goodness gracious that is one heck of a recovery story. We can only think of something akin to an ultra marathon without the support of any kind of food being comparable in hooman terms to what this good girl has been through. But unlike an ultra marathon which has a whole host of support along the way, this poor pupper has had to put on a brave face and do it all herself. At least she has this doggo devoted family waiting to embrace her at the proverbial finish line. Goodness knows what might have happened to her if she had to give birth out in the wild.
