Puppies saved from air vent after dog mom alerted rescuers to abandoned trailer the fur family had been dumped in, rescuers say: ‘These puppies are true survivors! Their strength and will to live through their first 2 months is so amazing!’

Abandoned doggos are found in some of the strangest places, but in this story we come to find out about the devastating dumping of a momma dog and her puppies who were hidden in an air vent.

It is not often said, because it never really happens, but dogs and HVAC do not mix. So you can imagine how crazy it must have been for the couple who rescued this trio of doggos to come to find that two of them had gotten stuck in an air vent of the trailer they were found in. a place of disrepute that had been inhabited for various periods by less than virtuous people.

Nonetheless our brave rescuers soldered on and made the save after the mamma dog so desperately pleaded with them for their help. Resulting in the rescue of three doggos and the reunion of a pawdorable pupper family, who got to go on to live happily ever after as a fur family.  What more could you want from a doggo rescue story?

  • You know, it is truly mind boggling how in these areas where there are supposedly so few people, that there are so many doggos and animals being dumped. It is starting to feel that either these spots are known for miles and miles around as the only place to abandon a pet, or there is some sort of magical dog dumping portal that opens up each time a pet is placed out on the street which transports the poor pet to these places. We suppose we will never know the truth and will always be thankful that these places usually have at least one hooman who cares enough to save these animals.

  • Goodness gracious what a rescue. This heroic hooman literally risked life and limb climbing into that vent. After all that house has been used for, who knows what nasty surprises could have been waiting for them in that tightly enclosed space. Thankfully, it was only a couple of puppies in this instance but it could have been a heck of a lot worse and we are blown away by this hero’s commitment to caring for animals. We cannot imagine the elation of the dog momma who must have been going out of her mind having her puppies stuck in there out of her reach.
