They say that being happy is a choice, and they're not wrong. It's our job to make that easy for you with some outrageous animal memes to put a paws on the news and scroll through some joyful memes from our animal friends.

We humans have more power over our emotions than we give ourselves credit for. You probably don't know this, but we actually studied psychology in college and grad school. One of our main focuses of study was "positive psychology". Unlike traditional psychology, positive psychology focuses on how to thrive within yourself and with those around you. As the name suggests, it focuses on the psychology behind happiness.

You may be asking yourself, "Why is this guy all of a sudden talking about psychology? We just came here for some silly memes." Well, in a world where information is so easily accessible to us, it's easy to feed into the negative. Tragedy pulls us in and locks our attention; this is why some of the most well-known stories in human history are tragedies (think Romeo & Juliet). But tragedies don't nourish us, they keep our emotions heavy and start to affect the way we see the world around us. If all you read about is negative after negative, the whole world begins to look negative, even when it's not true.

So, it's very impawtant to put a paws on the "breaking news" and consume something that fills your soul with hope and pawsitivity. That's where these hilarious animal posts come in! They're perfectly unserious, 100% silly, and a good reminder that there are funny and good things in the world.

The more pawsitive you are, the more that pawsitivity spreads to others, and before you know it, the whole world is a better place simply because you allowed yourself to feel good.

The best part of our day, hands down, is opening the door after coming home from a long day at work. Our doggo never fails to greet us with a shower of kisses, loving head bonks, and whines of happiness that are the best sound in the whole world. She makes every day worth it.
