Now that we're well into our 30s, our ideal weekend plans involve no plans. We don't want to come to your birthday party, we'd rather not meet for a drink (especially if we're supposed to meet after 9 PM), and we definitely don't want to "see where the night takes us". The only place our night is taking us is to our couch, curled up with our cats.

All we need are some snacks, a warm and fuzzy blanket, and one cat making biscuits on our legs while the other loafs on our chest until we fall fast asleep. And we're not just talking about any sleep, we want a one-way ticket to Honk Shoo Land, where we're sawing logs for at least eight hours. We have to make up for our lack of sleep during the week at some point or another.

We should be allowed to claim our cats as dependents if we spend a certain amount of money on them or more. Considering all the emergency vet visits we had last year, we should be able to get something back. We're basically funding our vet's practice at this point. First, one cat refused to drink water, only for us to find out that he would only drink from glasses we left out and not his water bowl. The other ate a sewing needle. Yes. A sewing needle. That was a very expensive vet visit.

Well, it might happen. Cats have been known to make very impulsive decisions, so we're not sure we should put the fate of our country in the paws of a cat. You can bet that the world distribution of tuna would definitely change, though.
