Whoever said that you need to be graceful to get your fill of water was most certainly wrong. If anything, making a giant mess of it is actually rather beneficial. Our skin acts like a sponge absorbing everything and anything that we put on it. So if you end up drinking like an unhinged cat, then there is a good chance that you will be hydrating yourself both inside and out. As for the cat we cannot say so much if the same is true, also they have a lot of fur standing in the way of that water making it to their skin, so who knows if it works at all the same way.

With the growing appreciation for the cat child and treating cats like our hooman children there are a growing number of feline fur babies who have their own special water fountains made available to them. Seemingly because drinking from the tap is far too uncouth for a feline of their pedigree. Resulting in a new breed of high brow cattos who would rather expire from thirst than drink from any other source other than their freshly regenerating stream of water. Who knew that cats could have it so darn good eh?
