A man on TikTok posted a video of him playing the Nay flute from Ancient Egyptian times. The sound feels spiritual and deep. However, TikTok users have quickly figured out another reason for it—a call to cats everywhere to remind them that they are gods to be worshipped.

It's almost scary how affective this sound is on cats. Each viral TikTok video from this trend shows a sweet innocent feline going from cat mode to sphinx really fast. No one has yet to try and explain this strange occurrence within our kitty friends, but the Internet is not ignoring it. Users from all over the world are posting videos of their cats. They listen to this sound and then all of a sudden it feels as if an old soul appears behind those kitten eyes. We might not build statues or pray to our cats like the ancient Egyptians did back in the day, but we definitely still worship them.
