• One of the more amusing elements of this story has to be the fact that the seatmate's decision to steal the author's Shake Shack order came after the author had done him a solid by switching seats. 

  The shameless audacity on display here begs the question: Was switching seats really about sitting next to their partner, or did they somehow always just want the perks of the author's membership and miles? Sure, the latter scenario is unlikely, and it's more probable that the seatmate was just a clueless fool who thought he could get away with accepting a free cheeseburger without connecting the dots. So at the end of the day, the guy is either conniving or dumb. One thing remains clear, however. He's certainly entitled.

  As for the author, this guy deserves some applause for knowing exactly what he wanted on this flight and never losing sight of it. He pre-ordered that Shake Shack burger and was determined to ensure that he would get it no matter what. It didn't matter if he switched seats with someone. It didn't even matter if someone else tried to take that order. At the end of the day, nothing was going to stop him, and that's the kind of energy we all should aspire to exude the next time we want a cheeseburger.

• The flight attendant also deserves a shout-out for acknowledging how ridiculous the seatmate was acting, as if he could successfully get away with taking someone else's food order when that person was sitting directly behind him. Again, some entitled folks don't think that deeply. It makes you wonder how they even got this far in life in the first place.
