'Delivered a pizza and came home with the best tip ever': Pizza delivery driver rescues abandoned stray who jumped into their car and turns a routine delivery into a furever home

This cat didn't order a pizza, but she did order a new life.

Sometimes a normal shift turns into something way bigger. While out delivering pizzas right before Christmas, this driver pulled up to a house and was immediately greeted by the sweetest cat, who ran right up and hopped into the car like she'd done it before. It seemed like she must belong to someone nearby, but after asking, it turned out she had been left behind when the previous neighbors moved out.

She'd been living outside ever since, with people around feeding her when they could, but no real home. Friendly, healthy, and clearly used to people, she just didn't have anyone anymore.

So instead of leaving her there, the driver took her home.

A vet visit confirmed she was doing well, just a little matted from being outside, and from there it was a full reset. No more street life, no more uncertainty, just a warm, safe place to land.

Now Ringo Starr is living exactly how she should be. Indoors, cared for, and clearly loving it. What started as a simple delivery ended up changing everything for both of them.

  • Forget cash, forget anything else, just getting a cat for making a delivery is purrfect. You show up expecting a normal drop-off and leave with a whole new roommate. That’s way better than anything that could’ve been on the receipt. Every delivery should come with this kind of bonus.
