You might not expect for the story of the ugly ducklying to find itself mirrored in a doggo adoption story. But here we are with this wholesome story of the ugly puppy and the girl who didn't want to adopt him.

A case like this truly makes us wonder if indeed these parables have some sort of cosmic connection. Because the serendipity of a story like this happening and paralleling the story of the ugly duckling so pawfectly is quite uncanny. Sure, you can argue that parables have themes within them common to all hoomanity and society, allowing us to learn from them and apply their morals to our lives with ease.

But it still does not explain how such a like for like situation came to be. No matter how it came to be, we are delighted that it did and we hope that you too will learn a lesson or two about taking a chance on something you had not considered before. Because more often than not, you will come to find a whole new world when you step out of your preconceived notions.

  • Awww, it all worked out! What more could you want from such a story. Obviously there is more goodness to come, but in all honesty this is wholesome enough right here. Both of these sweet souls have learned ultra valuable lessons in life. The doggo learned that by not giving up you can achieve your dreams, and the girl learned that sometimes you need to give things a chance in life because they can become the greatest thing in your life if you let them. But let's put that to one side for a moment as this story nears its precipice.
