Abandoned pet turtle rescued by animal loving family after lengthy time alone gets luxury outdoor terrarium complete with flowers, food and a canine sibling: ‘It looked like he had been out there for awhile so we decided to adopt him’

While it is wild enough that lost cats and dogs are found and given loving homes, it is even wilder when a non native critter like this story's turtle manages to find their furever home, with nothing more than the guidance of the universe.

We often hear about the trials and tribulations of stray dogs and cats, but these are animals that no matter how lost, are somewhat adapted and accustomed to our hooman world. But when it comes to an animal who to begin with is non native to its area and on top of that is woefully unsuited to the hooman world, well, then you have a true struggle on your hands.

For if it were solely a matter of walking up to any random person and asking for help, there is a chance that a turtle would find its way in this world. But seeing as they need such special care, they cannot choose any random person. They have to let the universe guide them to find the pawfect person who knows all about turtle care to scoop them up and give them the kind of home that they deserve. Which is miraculously what happened to this turtle.

Oh no poor thing, you can only imagine what kind of a journey a poor non native turtle like this has had to go through in order to get to this point. After all, the hooman world is barely designed for us hoomans, and even stray dogs and cats have a heck of a time navigating our world without our support. So you can imagine that for a turtle who does not even belong to this area it must have been quite the headache to get as far as they did. Thank goddess the universe brought them to someone who actually knew what to do with them.

Holy heck that is quite the investment in this sweet lost creature. We cannot remember the last time we invested in ourselves so much, let alone a turtle we had just met. Heck, even the flowers are quite the pampering addition to this reptile’s life. The last time we got any kind of flowers was on Valentine's Day and let's say that they were nowhere near as thoughtful, pretty and suited to our taste as these. But we suppose that is the treatment a creature who has been hurt and lost for so long deserves, if not far more than that.
