Wow! I can't really believe its been a week since Mr Bingley has come into our lives Partly because of the weather-by- sybil we've been having, and partly because our super sweet Mr Bingley has just naturally become a part of our family!

He stayed in the garage for two days, and by day 3 I decided he was healing up pretty well and brought him inside to meet the boys. I have two other cats, Noodle (Salvador) and Lovey

(Archer). Lovey is a *raw* cat, and has been personally offended at the presence of a newcomer, but all he's been doing is hissing, no violence. Noodle has approximately three brain cells

Then there was my husband. "I don't want a third cat" was what I heard for two days. In context, I didn't blame him. He grew up with a mom who bred and showed cats

But bit by bit, I'd see the cracks. He'd go out to the garage to check on him, then I'd catch him feeding Bingers a treat, then he'd ask me "how's Bing this morning?" And by the day we brought him inside he was giving Bingley kisses and proclaiming his undying love for this little cat.

I just got back from taking Bingley to the vet, and we have a terrific, healthy(ish) cat! He's approximately 6 months old and underweight, but that'll get fixed in no time (he literally tried to run off

with a pancake this morning, and loses his little cat mind for Churu treats). And he has a kitty cold, but is improving every day! But otherwise he is FIV and FeLV negative and I'm pretty sure every employee at the vet would go to war for this kitten. I would too.
