These 2 17-year-olds have also been playing the game a lot. They actually put their heads together and came up with an interesting plan to earn money overnight.
But now, big questions are arising. Because one of the teens is accusing the other of “losing” a Roblox pet. And she wants to be paid back, to the tune of $4k+!

Am I overreacting? Refusing to pay for my friends rare pet that she gave me cause someone stole it?

$4,058.40 for a virtual Strawberry Elephant?
This guy is a cutie pie. I'd pay several dollars to own the virtual version, and maybe like $40 if there was a Lego version of her to own. But $4k? Please. Be so serious. There's just no way it really costs that much!

Insane!

Teenager looks in disbelief at her friend, who's using a computer, who tried to get her to pay thousands of dollars for a virtual Roblox pet.

Do not, under any circumstances, pay her this money
If the teen is reading this, please know: people bring lawsuits over this amount of money. If she's serious, you should make her sue you for it. Some folks bring lawsuits over their landlords charging them 2 grand! There's nothing in the world that should convince you to pay like, a dollar per pixel for this strawberry elephant. And before you send her a dime, get your parents involved — her parents and yours — to get this all straightened out.
I'd be surprised if the elephant was actually stolen… It seems most likely that she pilfered it herself in order to get some money from you!

She really showed her hand here
"We both know u can," so snarky! The implication here is that this teen just has piles of money laying around, like she's diving into pools of gold coins Scrooge-McDuck-style. Even if her parents had money, why would that inherently mean that she has thousands of dollars sitting around, waiting to be used at her discretion? That's just not how anything works. This friend is using her!
-
People assured this teen that she isn't in the wrong here, and that she should keep a close eye on her "friend"

-
Whoa!
Imagine the look on the friend's face when this girl informs her that she can save $3,995 on the virtual pet! She's not gonna like that one bit!
