Yes, this man's account of what went down with his girlfriend is full of red flags galore. But the most amusing part of their confrontation was the fact that this woman played innocent the entire time, only to later admit that she was behind the changes to her boyfriend's login access.
It takes a specific kind of personality to sneakily plan such a calculated scheme and then try to get away with pretending it was a glitch or an accident. Clearly, she wasn't a very good actress because she was unable to convince her partner otherwise.
What is never revealed in this story is the exact purpose of the login change. It's possible that she was planning on making it difficult for her boyfriend to track their money because she was planning on using it for something else. Maybe she was going to break up with him and wanted control of the money beforehand. Regardless of what her intentions were, there is absolutely no way she could have been plotting something that was equally beneficial for the both of them.
