15 College kids who couldn't help but laugh at their meal options

Many college students get assigned a meal plan, and the food choices range from fantastic to bleh

In college, many of us got those beloved meal plans. The school cafeteria food is usually okay and sometimes pretty good, depending on what you buy. My school had a Starbucks on campus, which was pretty great, and the actual food options were enough to keep us all fed. Some of my best college memories are of grabbing a booth with like 6 friends, hanging out and laughing together until some people had to leave for class, only for more people to join us in their place. Sometimes we'd spend a whole day studying in the caf (aka being on our phones and goofing around).

But sometimes, the cafeteria was closed, and we found ourselves eating things like 1 spoonful of peanut butter, or some stale crackers and questionable cheese sticks, or maybe an unholy amalgamation of vending machine food. It happens to the best of us.

These college kids were nice enough to share what they've been eating lately, and the results are fascinating!

Got that none pizza with left tomato as the special! Maybe the college has never heard of vegan cheese… and why would the tomato sauce not be vegan?

I will say, if you took a vanilla shake and added Cherry Dr. Pepper, regular Dr. Pepper, and rootbeer, that sounds delicious. Not sure why they felt the need to add mint to all that. It's pretty funny that the people around them are equally perturbed by it, and yet this person is still extolling the values of the the Dr. Mint Cherry Root Float.

Pizza is clearly a common food choice here! And why wouldn't it be? It's so very easy to prepare. Just 3 ingredients, if you can handle that. There was a time in my life where I would make what I called Homemade Lunchable Pizzas using mini tortillas, tomato sauce, cheese, and pepperoni slices. Pop that in the oven for like 7 minutes, and voila! A delicious and easy lunch. I wish I had discovered that in college, instead of when I was a remote-working professional writer in my 20s, but nevertheless, it's an excellent meal that powered me through many an article.
However, some people tried to make pizzas and made, uh, something that categorically is closer to a smoothie.
This is the type of meal you make when your last class of the day doesn't end til 9 PM, and all the stores have closed for the day

I know you can't guess what it is. I couldn't either. According to this "chef," this is a very cheap pizza crust topped with sausage, bananas, and some very wilty spinach. And no, they confess, it did not taste very good.
