    Jmfroggie Check your lease and state laws. If you are 6month- yearly lease, he cannot raise rent or fees. If you truly are month to month- first off why if you've been there for three years? Even if you are month to month there's a legal notification period before he can.

    IN SOME STATES, living on the property over a year means you actually do have what would be considered a yearly lease and not month to month and everyone has to treat it as such. So this depends on where you live. Month to month is meant to be for short term and in those states, living in one place for an extended period of time invalidates the month to month to protect all parties.
