Paralyzed cat adorably nicknamed 'The Cookie Monster' for her dopamine-inducing mealtimes that consistently go viral amongst fans of funny felines

Open wide, and say, "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"

Kitty ASMR was not something we knew we needed until now. We're not ones to yuck somebody's yum, but the clickity-clack sounds of nails on a cheap microphone and the sounds of people eating gross us out. However, when it's a cat replacing the hooman influencer, we're purrfectly locked in. The crunching noises, the adorable inhales in between bites, and the occasional meows really set off all the serotonin buttons in our brains.

Meet Poong, a cat with brain damage who has over 1 million followers on Instagram. Because of her injury, she can't eat by herself, so her hooman feeds her all her meals. Not only is it incredibly compassionate, but it's also the most purrfectly adorable thing we've ever seen. Because Poong has difficulty moving her head, she stays in place, while her hooman offers her a bite. Poong sniffs the tasty bite, then opens her mouth, awaiting her meowrvelous bite. The food is placed in between her open jaws, like a baby being fed with the airplane technique we all know so well. And then, the cronching begins. Crumbs fall everywhere, hence her nickname, 'The Cookie Monster'.

It's not her fault that she only has one working brain cell currently! Although she has an orange brain, we doubt her coat will change. However, you should never underestimate the power of the singular orange brain cell, so we can't be 100% sure. What we do know is that we've watched this video at least seven times in a row, and we could easily watch it another ten more times. It's so funny how she waits for the treat, then just chomps down on it. Mealtimes must take forever, but when they're that cute, we're pretty sure we wouldn't mind.

If you check out her Instagram, you will see that she has a “wheelchair” that assists her in standing up. She can move her legs, but it doesn't seem like she can really walk. But, just because she can't walk doesn't mean she doesn't get around - it just means she has to be carried by mom and dad everywhere. What a pawsitively tough life! We wouldn't mind being carried everywhere, to be honest.
