Tiny Survivor
Our yellow lab found this little girl in August; her mom and siblings had passed. She had a fever coat and went through 3 months of isolation for round after round of ringworm treatment. I thought I’d post an update for you all! She did get a little violent, all cooped up with no socialization. It was a little scary, but we’re through it now. She’s always loved Murphy, and he is still her buddy.

She’s been integrated with everyone for 4 months, and she’s such a funny girl. All the baths for the ringworm must have done something because you can’t take a shower or do dishes without her in the tub/sink. She’s snuggly, and she LOVES cat bongos. Made it through her spay just fine! She’s feisty and sweet and still a little bitey, but so much better! So happy Belinda made it through everything, and Murphy found her. She’s a tough little lady, and we love her so much. And of course Murphy is still the best boy around

We can only imagine how terrified this poor kitten might have been. Losing everything like that, being left alone in the world, not only dealing with everything that this entails, but doing it sick, not at full strength. The doggo must have been quite scary too that first moment. But cats understand kindness. We, as people who've been around cats our whole lives, know this. She knew that this animal came with good intentions.

An adjustment period is only fair. This sweet thing has been through a lot. What matters more than anything is that now, she is safe and happy, comfortable being herself, and she has a best friend for life who is always going to have her back no matter what. She is happy, and that means that we are happy. And we can only say thank you to you for taking her in and giving her the time and love and care that she needed to get back on her paws.
