'I hate people': 4 abandoned newborn kittens with their eyes still closed found in a paper bag in the California heat, but thankfully, a kind couple saves them just in time and nurses them back to health

When caring strangers save abandoned kittens in desperate need of help, you remember that there is so much good in the world to offset the bad.

No one can resist the cuteness of a kitten. Kittens are some of the most precious, sweetest things in the world. Or at least so we thought. We love kittens so much, we see them as something to protect, that the thought of anyone abandoning a bunch of kittens in a bag in the horrible California heat is… well, unthinkable. But there are some people out there who, apparently, don't have that nurturing instinct when it comes to itty bitty kitties. There are some people who are cruel, no matter how much we don't want to believe it. Thankfully, there are good people out there to offset the bad.

When this woman saw these abandoned kittens, her first reaction was, of course, shock. The second one was to do the right thing - to save these kittens. These were not kittens who were abandoned by their mother or lost. Someone else had seen them before, and that someone chose to leave them in a bag to fend for themselves. We need more people like the couple who saved them, who nursed them back to health. Because there will always be bad people out there. We just need to make sure that we're part of the good ones who keep the balance in this world.

Cruel. That is what this is. We can think of a few situations where you might end up with kittens that you are not ready for, but we cannot think of a single situation where abandoning them in a bag in the hottest days of summer is the solution. They're kittens! People are looking to adopt kittens all the time. There is a shelter out there that would have happily taken these kitties in and found them homes, we are sure of it. Throwing them outside like this, when their eyes are still closed, and they have zero chance to survive without help, is absolutely insane.

It is fate that brought this couple to these kittens. Without their help, these kittens had no chance. For all we know, 24 more hours alone out there would have been too long. As much as this story reminds us of the bad people in the world, it also reminds us of the good ones - the ones who are willing to stop their day and go out od their way to help an animal in need and save its life.
