What a funny, beautiful, and complicated duty it is to be a mom. It's existential and yet, simple. You love with all of your being and you worry every second. You want to show your kid that self-care is important, but you're much lower on your own priorities list now that those tiny bundles of joy and chaos entered the world. That's okay.
