Every family has a tradition for Mother's Day. In my family, the tradition went like this: wake up and have brunch together as a family. What we had was very important too. It was always blueberry pancakes, but specifically Krusteaz box mix. To my father's disappointment, my mom preferred that to his homemade stuff. There was one day of the year that she could make all the rules and indulge in her cravings as much as she wanted, so she did. Along with blueberry pancakes, she liked freshly squeezed orange juice. After breakfast and resting, it usually meant that we were going to go to either a museum, or some sort of historical site, or a walking tour. She's really fascinated with culture and history, so that was usually what we did. Then, of course it was dinner. It either was some sort of American style Bistro, or a homemade meal by my dad.
