Small inconveniences have a way of adding up. 

It's the little things in life that end up mattering much more than the big things. It's the stuff that happens over the course of your day that determines your mood, how you feel about the world, and how you show up for others. If a tiny part of that is thrown out of whack, you'll feel its reverberations all the way down. That's why they call it "waking up on the wrong side of the bed." It can be something as simple as a disturbance in your morning routine to make you feel like it's all gone belly-up. It's why we have to mind our p's and q's, and resolve to have a good attitude even when things get us down. But it's also good to point it out when it happens. The world has a way of moving toward entropy, and we have to be vigilant, or else everything will collapse under us. But we don't have to let it. We can stand up for ourselves when our favorite cafe takes away our favorite sandwich. We can ask about it, express interest, and get some buzz going, and maybe, just maybe, we can bring it back. We don't have to accept defeat as inevitable. We can tell the world when something makes us mad.

  • That's what the person in this story was trying to do when they pointed out a very real frustration that was happening at their local McDonald's. And who doesn't have a local McDonald's? If you live in the US, you certainly do. It's one of the inevitables of this life, whether you like it or not. And let's be honest, who hasn't been grateful for a McDonald's French fry at a certain hour of need? You know it will be there for you, and you're so happy to see it. But what if that very fast food chain took away what should be an essential service to its customers? That's what happened here, and there was a lot of discussion about how and why.

  • PureRely In case you have not worked a customer-facing job before, companies do not make decisions like this just to upset people. Once changing tables are installed, companies are usually not thinking about changing them unless there is a reason.

  • The only reason a company would revisit something like this is if people were using the changing tables in ways. they should not be. After enough complaints from employees or guests, especially if there is a safety
