Moving to a new rental house, the last tenants left a kitten behind
Started moving into a new place this week, and met this young man yelling at me from my side yard. He hung out with us all day, and we caught the neighbors to ask who he belonged to. They said the last tenants had a bunch of cats and mentioned one was left behind. They've been giving him tuna and water and letting him hang out in their garage. He let himself in while we were bringing things inside and had to be physically removed from the house much to his displeasure. We weren't really planning on getting a cat.

Are you going to keep him? Please keep him.
We are!! We're still moving in, but the neighbors are feeding him this week and letting him live in their garage since theyre too allergic to let him inside. He's going to the vet soon to get checked for a chip just in case, then his trouble puffs are getting taken away and hes getting his shots :) If all goes well and we can keep him his name is going to be Icarus -

1: previous tenants moved out of his home and you're his new house staff
2:Be glad your new residence comes with a complimentary cat!
3: Please understand, the Cat Distribution System does not concern itself with how its beneficiaries feel about getting a cat, please just accept that a cat has been provided, even if it appears to require a trip to the vet to remove its troublepufffs.
4: Be glad its not an oramge. -

Moving really is one of the most stressful things a person can do. From packing, cleaning, unpacking, and more cleaning, to actually feeling settled there, it's all just one big headache. It can take so long to move from one point to another, and that's why people often hire movers. But what if you were already stressed with moving, and a little cat came up to you?
