What does your purrfect future look like?

If money was no object, we would be living in a mansion somewhere outside the city, with all the cats we could pawssibly adopt. We would turn the mansion and the land around it into a cat sanctuary and rescue. No people around to bother us, just us, our partner, and our giant feline family to care for.

Unfortunately, money is still crucial to our survival, so that dream isn't looking like it's getting any closer. Vet visits are more expensive than they were a few years ago, and things in general are getting more costly. With all the stuff going on in the world right now, it's easy to start to feel like everything is pointless.

But, we have one very impurrtant thing to tell you: life may look purrticularly bleak right now, but as long as there are cats, there is still hope.

Because of our cats, we've gotten through some of the ruffest points in our lives. They saved us when we cried for days after breakups, calmed us down when we were in between jobs, and gave us a reason to get out of bed every meowrning. Because of them, we truly live. All to give them the best life we can.

So, yes, your present may not look great. Welcome to the club, snacks are on the left. But as long as we have our cute cat kiddos, some hissterical feline posts to scroll through, and a dream, we know that we can make it through another day. And every day is one step closer to living alone, in a mansion, with just our cats. Anything is pawssible!

In addition to our cat sanctuary/mansion, ideally, we would have a massive garden where we could grow all of our own vegetables. We would also like to build the largest catio on the planet - think like one of the old McDonald's playrooms, but for cats. We would sit in our rocking chair on the porch, watching all of our rescues play in their giant outdoor adventure park, with our partner by our sides. Not a single sound except for the happy chirps of cats and the occasional thud of one of the orange cats tripping over themselves.

Every pet pawrent knows that you have to take certain measures to work uninterrupted from home. For us cat owners, that usually means cradling our babies in our laps, or in this case, on our heads, in order for them to stop bothering us every five seconds.
