"Just because you name a puppy 'Rooster' does not make it a chicken"

Oh, to be a puppy… erm, I mean chicken, getting a good nap in the sun in your tranquil garden. That's a lucky farmer if you ask me!
But in all reality, you can hear in his voice that he has surrendered to Rooster already. His wife, in the background, is talking about the puppy and giving every good reason why they should keep them. The farmer is not listening, talking about how this dog isn't a chicken, but you can tell he is already in love. And this puppy has already made himself comfortable, so he is there for good!

In later posts, the farmer shares videos of Rooster, their furbaby for life now, just puppy-ing around, being the cutest farm dog. The farmer has fully embraced his love for this pup and seems to be happy with the family's new “chicken.” In fact, I would say this is another instance of unconditional love. He wanted a chicken for eggs, but got a puppy for love instead. That's a win for me! You can always get more chickens later. And we bet that farm dog will do what Great Pyrenees do best, and protect those chickens too! The farmer should be thanking his wife, actually.
