Yes, sometimes they do really live up to their nickname. Someone posted in Reddit's r/CatDisctributionSystem that her coworker came into the office and told everyone how she saw an orange cat go underneath a car in the parking lot. Panicked, the woman went down to see if she could help. She did end up getting this orange cutie out from under the car, and she had to stick her arm up inside the car. She is taking him home in a copy paper box. He's skinny but will be well fed. He's cuddly, sweet, and will be a brother to her current cat, Bean. I've always wanted an orange cat, and this one looks absolutely purrfect. The only problem is that most orange cats are male, and I would want a female one. But of course there are female orange cats out there. Part of why I want an orange cat is because I'm gingy, so I always thought it would be so cute to be double orange. I used to have a golden retriever, and my hair and his fur was surprisingly similar in shade and color. And I was even dating a redhead at the time! That's ginger overload if you ask me.
