Monday: conquered
-
Sometimes you have to wake up and convince yourself you're about to conquer the day, even if it's a Monday. Sure, the alarm was offensive, the weekend disappeared too quickly, and your bed is begging you to stay, but the battle must be fought. Monday may come swinging every week, but so do we. It might not be pretty, and it might require an unreasonable amount of caffeine, but the goal is simple: survive Monday and live to complain about it another day.

We should just start counting the week from Tuesday. Monday can be the trial run where nothing counts and everyone gets a chance to ease back into reality. No important meetings, no major decisions, no expectations. Just a 24-hour adjustment period to recover from the shock of the weekend ending. Then Tuesday becomes the real start of the week. Productivity would probably improve, morale would be higher, and we'd all have one less reason to dread Sunday night.

Worst insult
-
There are plenty of insults out there, but this one might sting the most. Mondays have spent years building a reputation for being dreaded, inconvenient, and responsible for ending all weekend fun. Nobody gets excited when Monday shows up, and most people spend Sunday night wishing it would stay away a little longer. Being compared to Monday means bringing stress, disappointment, and bad vibes all at once.
