"The power of rescuing"

“A year later, Chance and Nova are doing amazing. It’s been a journey! Rescuing Chance and Nova taught me so much. I’m grateful I was able to help make a difference for these dogs. I still can’t believe it’s been an entire year. Nova is fixed and is healthy. Chance tests for heartworms again to see if heartworm treatment worked this month, and then if he tests negative, I can get him neutered finally!”

She recently recounts how she saved her dog, Chance. He was abandoned at the rundown house next door to her home. They had a pack, but moved out and just left him for some reason. It broke her heart. She spent two weeks going over there, feeding him, slowly approaching him, giving him pets, until he finally decided to follow her home and stay there for good. Before his first week was even up, another dog, that she eventually named Nova, showed up in the garage where Chance was staying. She, of course, took her in too. And now those two dogs are inseparable. She introduced them to the rest of the pack, and everyone is besties! They have truly blossomed and flourished in her care and live with healed hearts, both emotionally and literally, since Chance is going through heartworm treatment.
If I could rescue all the dogs out there in need of some help, I 10000% would. But, alas, that is impossible. So we need more people like this SAHM in the world! For the puppers!
