Dog gets loose and goes missing for hours, comes back with a new friend for his hoomans to adopt

This dog went out on their own, and you guessed it, came back with another dog. 

Dog multiplication theory isn't proven, but in this story, it's suspiciously apparent. 

A dog owner was panicked when they lost their dog, frantically checking the ajar back gate, wandering the city streets calling their name, and wondering if they would ever see their furry friend again. Although they didn't know it at the time, their tears were for nothing because not only was the dog going to come back to them, but he was going to bring along another buddy in the process.

  • What's especially cute about this story is that the dog absolutely knew that this strange dog in the streets was in trouble. Seeing her skinny ribcage and spooked demeanor, this jolly house dog knew just the place to get her a gravy-slathered kibble meal and a bowl of fresh water: his house! Like the pets from Homeward Bound on a journey to the ends of the earth, this duo of doggos put their noggins together to get to the one place they knew they were safe and loved. 

    Although the new dog didn't know it at the time, this was one surprise friendship that would change her life forever… For the better! 

    Not every street dog gets an ending so happy as this, and sometimes, dogs run away for more reasons than the thrill of the chase. Deep down, this doggo knew that there was a pup out there who needed him to lend a paw.
