Motivation is hard to come by these days, and it seems like the roof is collapsing, the washing machine is out of order, or there's a bumper on the route of your commute that's doubling your drive time before work. Nothing seems to be going right in these trying times, but is there a way to set things right?
I recently found out that one of my dad's employees was stealing from him. She asked for a $3 raise, was denied, and cut herself the check anyway with the new amount. For starters, a $3 raise in this economy would have any business owner spiraling, but on top of that, she went ahead and just wrote an unapproved check, regardless. The audacity! While I despise this woman and am avidly convincing my dad to fire the traitor on his payroll who's comfortable enough to give themselves a raise with his money, there's also something about it that I admire.
She (either stupidly or vindictively) decided that it was high time she got paid more and just went ahead and did it.
Most of us wouldn't blatantly steal from our employer to get a raise, but there are moments in life where we need to seize the day. When life is collapsing all around us, and the only person we can trust is ourselves, maybe there's a way to come by our ideal end result in life just by sheer gumption. I don't advocate for company-wide theft, of course, but perhaps you should rebel against the system in your own way.

And scroll through some memes that will lighten the load of existence, if only for a brief moment, you, too, can feel the wind in your hair, the sun on your face, and your finger scrolling downward through some emotional support memes.
