29 Inconvenient Cat Children Caught Making their Pawrent’s Life Just a Little Tougher

Bringing a cute cat child into your home is not the easiest thing in the world to begin with. There is the feeding, the cleaning and of course the fighting. But what no pawrent is fully prepawed for at first is the inconvenience that a feline fur baby adds to your life.

Now we are not talking about the little things like moving your schedule around, waking you up at 3 in the morning for food or making you come home early from a date because they will destroy your home if you are more than 30 seconds late to sing them their dinner song. We are talking about the unique and wonderfully weird things that cat children do that inconvenience us pawrents in the most uncomfortable of ways. The things that make us wonder why we try at all, why we deserve to suffer in this way?

Things like dominating a gift box we have just opened because they noticed that our attention was drawn away from them for 0.2 seconds, ruining the fragile food items in the box and leaving us hungry and sad on our birthdays. We are talking about the kind of cat who curls up in the drying machine, fills it with fur so your freshly cleaned clothes will come out looking extra fluffy while at the same time throwing protests over being moved from the drying machine. And in one of the more annoying cases we have come across a cat who crawls into the space created by an open garage door and refuses to leave said spot. Causing his pawrents to do the same demoralizing dance for 30 mins each time they try to leave their home. So we hope you enjoy the chaos and calamity of other people's cat children and we sincerely hope that your feline fur baby looks like an angel next to these tiny terrors.

  • Ah the fur, this is an especially pertinent one as it seems that other than fighting out cat children for command of the house all day, the other thing we combat is their fur in every single piece of our clothing. Sometimes it is nice to have clothes that do not look fluffy, sometimes we just want to look clean and normal. And the way we achieve this is by washing our clothes, sure, it is not perfect by any means but it is something. That is, unless your cat child pawticularly enjoys melting all over your freshly cleaned clothes…

  • Ok, this is just borderline vindictive. Like, we get it a cat needs to be the center of attention and a puzzle sure does not mesh with that particular want. However, going as far as to fully steal the pieces and hide them, well that is just not ok. We could have abided by some destruction, perhaps throwing the pieces about the floor. But full on theft is simply too much. Not that the cat child in question cares at all, or even cares a little about the repercussions. They will do whatever it takes for that sweet, sweet attention.
