Her orange cat, Molly, appears at her window begging to be let in. It's out of character for her because the cat rarely wants to come inside if it's raining, like it was this evening. Usually Molly sits on the porch and watches the rain, but last night was the first time she didn't. Her animal instincts were telling her something, and she let them lead her. Since she woke up her owner, the owner went and followed her into the laundry room. That's when everything clicked and she noticed a strange stench in the room. She realized that there was a heavy gas leak, and the firefighters came. They said it would have been fatal had her cat not led her there.
