Argentina and Spain might be the finalists during the 2026 World Cup, but 48 countries participated in this year's tournament. This year's World Cup has seen it all: first-time player countries beating big-league teams, rivalry between coaches, best friends playing against each other, but every team gave their all to make us proud. And these kitties gave their all as well.
If there's one thing football fans love almost as much as the game itself, it's finding any excuse to show off their team spirit. From face paint to Lucky jerseys that haven't been washed in weeks, we've all seen it all, and we want more. So naturally, it was only a matter of time before the family cats got recruited into the festivities too. If you are my cat reading this, I am sorry. I love you; the jersey stays on.

Sorry to all my fellow kitties out there; I am positive that deep down you love it, even though you didn't have much say in the matter. My poor and dear cat, one minute she was enjoying a perfectly normal afternoon nap, and the next she's wearing a tiny Argentina jersey, a miniature England scarf, or somehow representing Brazil despite having never left the living room. Call me materialistic, but I love a good merch; yes, any country's merch.
So, whether your team lifted the trophy or got knocked out way earlier than expected (we've all been there), the World Cup always gives us something to remember. New heroes are born, underdogs surprise the world, and moments that seemed impossible become part of football history. And while the players were making memories on the pitch, these fluffy little fans were stealing hearts from home, posing in jerseys that are somehow cuter than the real thing.
