She is truly a heart cat. She loves watching TV, chirping at bird videos, and after a short burst of zoomies, she will curl right into your chest like she was always meant to be there.

Update:: The lady who was supposed to come for a meet and greet today ghosted us. Other applications are either far from Charlotte or homes with many cats, so we are still looking for the right family for Bella.

peaceoverhate So confused by this. The family that had her for 13 years gave her up for a kitten??? This is just breaking my heart. Bottle-fed babies are especially sensitive to human interaction. They are usually so loving. I don't live in that area and I have animals so I'm not able to take her but I pray she finds a home. The adjustment must be really hard on her. A

Lost_Night225 OP I know... it's truly heartbreaking. Bella is such a loving girl and she's going through a big adjustment right now. After giving 13 years of her life, she deserves nothing but love, patience, and a safe forever home. Thank you so much for your kind words and prayers..it really means a lot. ♡

Please share and repost. I really want Bella to be seen. Her previous post was removed, and I lost potential adopters. Every share could help her find the loving home she deserves.

orchiddoctor I think the last post got deleted because of the OUTRAGE over the situation. I'm pred off for Bella and feel like the owners who surrendered her should have their kitten taken away because this is ab e to abandon your elderly animals who have been with you their whole lives. I'm in NC and would take her, but I have an adult female cat and 2 dogs, worried that would be too much for her.

Lost_Night225 OP Thank you so much for caring about Bella. | completely understand how upsetting this situation feels. Bella has been through a huge change after 13 years, and right now our focus is making sure she finds a calm, loving home where she can feel safe and cherished. Thank you for even considering taking her in. We understand that a home with other pets may not be the right fit for every senior cat, and we want to find the best possible match for Bella's needs.

bigt ddyh mbo I've said this in the past posts about Bella, and I'll say it again here! I will give whoever adopts sweet Bella a care package with a stainless steel litter box, treats, toys, and food!

UndeadAnneBoleyn Upvoted to boost. I have a 13 year old SIC and 11 year old void. The idea of giving either one of them up makes me sick and I have nothing nice to say about the people that chose to abandon her. I hope very much that she finds a wonderful forever home. If I lived in Charlotte, I'd take her in a heartbeat.

Lasagna4Noodle These people don't deserve any cats... I couldn't imagine giving up my pet that I spent 13 years with for one that I don't know.

alixanjou Commenting for visibility and because I really wish nothing but pain on her former adopters. I wish there was a way to contact whoever they adopted the kitten from and have it taken away as well. These are obviously not good people capable of committing to pets. Bella is a sweet sweet baby
