Cats could spend the entire day sleeping without a care in the world, but somehow they always decide that 3 a.m. is the purrfect time for a full-blown purr-formance. Whether it's sprinting laps through the house, practicing their opera vocals, or knocking over anything that could double as a percussion instrument, they're determined to make sure everyone enjoys the show. Tickets may be free, but attendance is mandatory.

Cats always have so much to say when it's 3 a.m., but the second their human starts singing, suddenly they're the toughest music critics in the house. One off-key note and you get the slow blink, the judgmental stare, or the dramatic walk out of the room like they just demanded a refund. They can yowl at invisible ghosts for twenty minutes straight, yet somehow our singing is where they decide to draw the line.

If cats ever released a greatest hits album, every track would just be a different version of "Feed Me." There's the early morning remix, the "I can literally see the bottom of my bowl" ballad, the dramatic dinner-time anthem, and the late-night encore, just in case you forgot they hadn't eaten in a whole two hours. It's always their favorite song and they expect you to know every single lyric.
