Tiny kitten found hiding under propane tank in garbage saved by passing cat lovers who got the injured feline patched up and found it a loving furever home with their family: ‘I cannot express how thankful I am that we decided to go outside when we did.’

It seems that in the world of kitten rescue there is no end to the creative and claustrophobic places that hoomans have found kittens in need. And today's story takes that classic stereotype one paw further with the kitten who was found trapped under a propane tank which was inside a garbage can. Talk about a double whammy.

No matter how much we might try to ignore the irregularities of cats, they will always find a way to remind us that they are some of the strangest creatures on this planet. Whether it be the way that some cats like to lie on the floor paws spread to the sides like they are hugging the earth with their chest, or the cats that find themselves hanging out in the floors of hotels, or like this tiny feline and his unfortunate trapping under a propane tank. Cat kind simply cannot live without us knowing just how strange and silly they are. But that is also one of the many reasons we really love them and it was certainly what this passing couple of cat lovers felt when they happened upon the helpless kitten.

And being cat lovers they knew that a kitten in such a state would no longer survive under momma's care and so they got stuck straight into rescuing it. Thankfully with the kitten being so smol and him being in good health it was not a pawticularly tough rescue, but it was a rescue done right. It did not unnecessarily involve any animal services that would have had extra pressure on them to stretch their limited resources and the responsibility of finding a furever home was taken on by the rescuers with no hesitation, again saving a strained system from further weight. What more can you want?

Wow, that is seriously unreal. It is not every day that you happen to be walking along and find a kitten in a garbage can, and much less so when the kitten you find is actually stuck under a propane tank. Judging by the situation that this cat was found in, it was lucky only to lose a little bit of its tiny tail and not need any kind of surgical work. Sometimes the universe works in mysterious ways to protect its most precious angels. The thing we cannot seem to crack is how this poor feline even found itself in such a compromising position to begin with.

What a lovely ending to such a sweet story. It is not every day that we get to revel in the delight of a kitten rescue story going right. Often medical complications or even an overwhelming amount of kittens caught at the same time make the tail take a turn for the terrible. But for this sweet feline to go from almost losing the short life he had lived to getting immediate placement and a foster home that doted on him is simply unreal. We can only hope that this kitten grows up to value and cherish all the good that is coming to him and to show his parents how awwppreciative he is of their kindness and generosity every day.
