This woman spent 15 beautiful years with a beautiful soul, Dexter. He was found at a shelter with a note on his cage saying, "I haven't quite figured out how to use my litter box yet, but if you're patient with me, I won't disappoint you." It was the note that started it all, and she fell in love at first sight. How could she say no to this little guy when he is already so sweet and gentle with her? They shared thousands of hours purring, countless snuggles, snacks, and dairy products. Every night he slept pressed against her back and it made her feel like she was home. Dexter was there for her throughout the most significant chapters of her life, like heartbreaks, new beginnings, and hard times. She says he had the most enchanting purr, the bluest eyes, and an apricot tail. 

She praises him for his character, his gentleness, his calmness, and the fact that other cats were always looking up to him. He made everyone around him feel safe, which is a rare quality for a cat.
