Fate is everywhere, let the cat distribution system lend itself to you. 

No one likes getting dumped, or dumping someone else for that matter. Breakups are some of the hardest things to go through. Even if you know it's for the best, or even if you stopped liking the person or fell out of love, it's just immensely hard to go through breakups. It's a severance of lifestyles, a sunder of familiarity and routine. It's letting go of the hope or the image of a future. There's suddenly a void where there once was a person, a hope, an idea, or the beating of a heart. There's no right way to do it, but there's certainly wrong ways. Texting someone with an ending is just disrespectful, and in this story that's exactly what happens. 

She's just been dumped over text by her boyfriend, and she thought the world was crumbling around her. A few days later, she spots a lost kitten. A black cat is wandering around and chooses her, and she finds the cat all too adorable to say no to. With the help of her coworker, the two sneak the cat into her work so that she can take the little girl home. She now has a new roommate, Pandora. When one door closes, another opens. Who needs a stupid boyfriend when they have an adorable kitten for comfort? This is a cute story, and a reminder that life always works in waves, ebbs and flows of good and bad, losses and gains.

  • This little girl is simply adorable. What kind of awful man dumps over text? Good riddance. It may not feel like it in the moment for this girl who's grieving her ex boyfriend and relationship, but it's for the best. There's no use trying to make something work which is one sided. If he didn't have the decency to end things with her in a respectful way, then it's better they're not together. He wasn't a good boyfriend if this is how he ends things. She's better off with a cute kitten than a stupid boyfriend who can't even treat her right!
