Dragon dumped in apartment complex saved by neighbors but when they struggled to supply the reptile with the right environment things began to boil over: ‘He is so sweet, and I wanna try my best.’

More often than not the universe or life will simply put you where you are meant to be, the moment that you are meant to be there. Which was certainly the case for an out of town couple who moved to the middle of nowhere America.

Now no one moves town for a new job and expects to find a new pet within weeks of landing, nor do they expect for that pet not to be your run of the mill dog or cat, but a bearded dragon. But sometimes life just works out that way, at least in the middle of nowhere America it does. Now, we do not know exactly where this place is, but it is remote enough to rarely receive mail, to be far from a reptile pet store and is humid as heck. So you can imagine that daily life is not especially easy there for hooman kind, let alone reptile kind who generally enjoy a dryer climate.

But thanks to the actions of some irresponsible hooman, those harsh humid conditions were exactly what this large lizard was exposed to and through days of high heat he sat and waited for someone to save him. Our rescuers however found themselves confused. Unsure as to why someone would put a terrarium outdoors with a live animal inside and so gave it some time before approaching and inspecting. Thankfully they were not too late to save the day and before long this lizard got to live the life of dry heat luxury that it deserves.

  • Well, you know, life, or the universe, whatever you might like to call it, takes us to all sorts of interesting places. Like this couple who were moved for work, or was it actually a way for the universe to bring these people and this pet together. Sure, a giant lizard is not necessarily what you might have imagined to be your next pet. But when the reality is staring you in the face like that, could you be heartless to turn your back and say no? We certainly couldn’t and we are pleased that this couple had the heart to do something about it.

  • Jheez, it really makes you wonder how in the heck this humidity hating reptile managed to make it as far as he did in life. Out in the middle of nowhere by the sounds of it, with no suitable supplies within driving distance or even shipping. This scaly fella was either being fed the wrong food or his pawrent was in a similar position to this couple and quickly realized that they could not care for their critter there and so they hoped perhaps he would escape his enclosure outdoors and try to live a wild life.
