The concept of the scrungy cat is one that harks from the days of yore. The olden days when we used to prowl the pages of MySpace, listening to everyone's pirated profile song and of course chasing after cute cat pics and memes. Scrungy was used to describe the kind of cat that makes you think you are touching a cactus (or catus) every time you try to pet it. He is grumpy, grouchy, and cannot be bothered with whatever it is you think is important enough to bother him with. And in his very existence as a concept, we find ourselves a companion for those moments when we find ourselves down in the dumps.
