Entitled mother attempts to cut in line at Comic-Con photo op, even confronts the people who actually waited, until staff intervenes: ‘Nice try’

When can people be allowed to cut others in line? The answer is very easy, because luckily, there are rules and regulations to solve questions like these. 

Even though no one likes to wait in line, we all do it, because that is simply how civilized culture works. If you want to be serviced, you need to wait your turn, just like everyone else before you did, and how everyone after you shall do as well. Don't like it? Well, get in line…

Some people are exempt from waiting in line, and they have a special, legal permit to do so. And as much as we might be envious of them, we imagine the reason they have this permit might be a lot more difficult to deal with than simply waiting in line. Nothing comes for free, and we would much rather stay healthy and able to stand on our feet for the amount of time it would take us to get to the front of the line than deal with an issue that signifies we can't do that. We're sure most people with that permit would agree and tell us to be happy with the card we were dealt.

Obviously, plenty of people still think they are above the law and refuse to adhere to rules as simple as waiting in line for their turn. They would do everything to save themselves those precious minutes, even if it means fighting with other people and getting in trouble for it.

When a mother, like the one here, teaches her children that cutting in line is not only acceptable, but should be achieved by lying and deceiving others, all we want to see is her facing the consequences of her actions. That is why we were happy when the Comic-Con staff member stopped her attempt to cut the line and demanded that they move to the back.

She should teach her children patience and kindness, not to cheat and deceive others until they get their way…
