Distressed dog discovered being yelled at by unhinged hooman saved by dog lover who intervened, but when police turn up to take pup away, our heartbroken rescuer does everything he can to get the dog back: ‘We're first in line for adoption.’

It is not often that a rescue tale tells of how cruel and heartless a dumped doggo's previous pawrent was. But in this story we see the whole thing go down in a most dramatic fashion. Thankfully, this doggo's rescuer was already on the scene, prepawed to help out.

There are not too many stories that come out of Eugene, Oregon. It is typically a quiet place where people go about their American lives, living out grand American days. But on the day in question Euegene became quite the hot spot for doggo drama as you will come to find out. Our opening scene is set in a decrepit alley way with a man who is obviously mentally unwell and yelling at his dog. Each sentence spoken with the searing spit of a corba's venom. The poor dog gluing herself to the ground in fear of her pawrent yet still following the one she called dad. A truly heartbreaking scene to come upon.

But that is where our rescuer entered the situation, seeing a doggo in distress, he saw no other option than to confront the maddened man and try to get him to relent. However our rescuer's mere presence caused the manic man to turn his attention and attack towards our rescuer. Thankfully this distraction gave our doggo time to escape and soon landed in the loving arms of the hooman who stopped and put their safety at risk. Proof that you do not always need to know how to act like a hero, but to simply show up and be one.

Jheez, what a situation to find a dog in. It is not often that our tales of canine rescue actually include the heartbreaking moment that the dog was dumped. But here we have it, a shining example of how horrid it is to abandon an animal, an animal that just wanted to be loved, an animal that doesn’t understand the difficulties and dramas going on in your world. An animal that even when you act aggressive towards them does nothing to spare themselves and hopelessly follows the hoooman they thought was theirs.

Oh brother this is quite the pickle. In such a case you have to ask if this so-called owner is deserving of having this dog back. Even though it did not really look like he wanted to ever see the dog again, sometimes people get cold feet and having involved the cops and the shelter system the regulations have to be followed. Now, we are not saying it is better to flaunt rules, but even at a minimum it would have been better for this doggo to spend a few days with the family that found him rather than in the cold and scary shelter.
