We firmly believe that there is never a bad time to indulge in looking at memes.

It doesn't matter whether it is the middle of the workday, the early hours when you can't sleep, or simply a spare moment when you are at a loose end. Memes are an around-the-clock form of entertainment, and there is always room for a dose of their humor. In many ways, they are a 24/7 endeavor, ready and waiting whenever you need an amusing distraction from the horrors of existence.

That said, there is something particularly satisfying about a weekend scroll through a selection of the humor that the internet has to offer. After all, this is supposed to be our designated time for relaxation. There is no better way to embrace that than doing something which requires next to no effort. There are no deadlines to meet, and there should be a little more free time available to you (RIP weekend workers). If you end up poring through some increasingly ridiculous pieces of internet humor, then so be it.

We may be biased, but memes are a commendable way to start the weekend. It helps put behind you the stresses of the week, and eases the mind. Hopefully, that positive energy will carry you through whatever else the upcoming days have in store. If someone happens to accuse you of doing nothing more productive than procrastinating, they need to remember that sometimes it is important to let the brain be on easy mode. Even if memes are technically procrastination, that doesn't have to always to be negative.
