  • Anyway, I started having problems with my next door neighbour, who claimed that the access alley between our houses
  • was actually hers, and that we weren't allowed to use it. (I'd spoken to the landlord, who says
  • this was twaddle, and showed me the relevant paperwork). I'd had enough at this point, and had recently decided to rent a slightly bigger property outside of town.
  • However, a couple of weeks before leaving, I returned from work to find she'd attached a gate to the entrance, with the audacity to attach one side of it to my house.
  • I quizzed her and she said she'd given me enough warning, and had taken matters into her own hands.
  • Anyway, the morning I was moving out, she wasnt there, I noticed the satellite tv cable was there, sitting all unguarded riding alongside the shared path. A
  • sharp edged table 'accidentally' may have twice severed the cable, but hey, I guess accidents happen.
  • I never saw or heard from her again, but I felt little karma afterwards
  • Many moons ago, after I split with my first wife, I rented a small house so I could have my kids over the weekends.
  • FranceBrun I thought you were going to say that you took a chain and chained that gate shut.
  • Neergremloh OP It was definitely a thought at the time, along with smashing the thing with a hammer.
