Cats are some of the most skilled pouncers out there. They make micro-adjustments with their legs to calculate the proper height and force required, and then land without a sound. It truly is an ameowzing feat. They can jump from the floor to on top of the fridge, from the top of the cabinets down to the floor, and look completely chill while doing it. And, as I'm sure you've noticed, they always land on their purrfect paws. You can thank their incredibly flexible spine and crazy-fast reflexes for that.
If you're thinking to yourself, “That doesn't sound like my cat at all! My cat is lazy!” That may be true, but on the inside, they are still cat. If they had to do a backflip every day in order to be fed, they would do it happily.

Notice how we called these cattos “skilled”, which most people often confuse with “graceful”. Anyone who has ever owned a cat knows that they just pretend to be graceful, but they are actually giant derps and clumsy as can be.
