Dongs have the immensely inspiring ability to keep smiling through the worst of it.

The amount of struggles that someone could go through are truly limitless. It can be a daunting thought, but there's always a silver lining. Living life in fear of what could be is no way to live at all. We need hope and something to believe in to survive the waves of stress and pain that could be shown to us. There's always something to smile about, there's always something to hold onto, and there's always a reason to be strong. Dogs are sometimes those symbols of strength for us because they smile even when they have no idea what's going on. Being less complicated or developed creatures helps them in this way, and when we're in situations of survival, letting go and being more like a dog could really help.

This is an incredible video of how a golden retriever was stuck in a landslide for 3 days, and how he was saved by men who saw him stuck. The video shows him on one side, and then these men work hard to dig a hole and save him. He emerges with a big smile and wagging his tail, as if all is well in the world. If only we as humans could have the same kind of endurance for hardships and ability to smile through the pain. But it's an inspiring nonetheless, and dogs truly are incredible creatures.
