A woman posted to r/WhatShouldIDo after she let her boyfriend move into the house she owned on the condition that he contributed to the utility bills. As soon as he moved in, he started to make complaints that the interiors were not in a style that he liked, as he and she had different tastes.
This led her to tell him that he was welcome to help with the decor if he also contributed to that financially. Although this initially seemed to placate him, things got complicated, leaving her confused as to how to bring some balance to the situation.
-
How do I make this situation fair when we don't contribute equally?
