2 precious puppies saved from sad conditions in southern Missouri farm given loving furever homes shared between their rescuers and a pawfect pupper loving family: ‘We’re just ridiculously happy he’s here.’

Often when we have a story to share with you about puppies being found on a farm it is usually all about the dumping and the hardship involved. But in this story we get to enjoy the emotionally overwhelming tale of two puppies who were found frollicking in a farmer's field and were given the best pawssible homes they could. This is a story that celebrates those who do everything in their power to help pups and who are willing to cry when they leave them.

Considering that this story begins on a far it is not all too surprising that the canines in question are of the Australian Cattle Dog variety. They are incredible farm dogs and are well loved all over the world, both for their work ethic and their awwdorable pawsonalities. Which makes the finding of these strays even more confusing. If they are such a valuable breed to farmers who work with them. Nonetheless, this is how our story begins.

But from that point a new storyline emerges. One that relates to getting attached, that shows that no matter how much you might think that fostering a rescue is the right thing to do. That in actual fact, you were destined to have that doggo in your life. A fact which this family discovered in the nick of time before both dogs were adopted. It just goes to show that sometimes it is better to listen to the feelings in your heart, rather than the thoughts in your head.

Ah, goodness, it does not matter how old you are, having to say goodbye to a dog that you have become attached to is heartbreaking. Heck, as an older hooman it is even worse than when you are young. You are wise enough to know how important that moment is and how much this dog has been through just to get there. But at least these are tears that have come from a place of good. A place that recognizes how emotionally involved this process has been and how much it meant to them.

Oh goodness, a noise like that will send shivers down your spine and tear your heart open. We do not know how these hoomans had the strength and resolve to stand there and let this person take the pup. We would not have been tough enough at that moment. But as the rescuer says, she had chosen the pawfect home for this pup. There is no better pawson to have picked. So now there is only to trust in that decision and maybe consider keeping Bandit before it is too late. Who’d have thought it could be so tough eh?
