BambiRambino47 I gave a student extra credit just for sending me pics of her cat responding to my cat appearing in a recorded lecture I created (college course). If a student brought an entire kitten to class, I'd probably give everyone an A for attending that day I'd be so happy.

Environmental-Joke19 Unrelated side note, I had a class with those desks on wheels and I looooved it! Makes you feel less trapped and gets little ticks of energy out while in class.

amrit-9037 They studied nothing that day. Whole class was busy making cat videos! I saw this post last week. I also commented same thing on it.

lilclairecaseofb| r For anyone who might help a stray out in the future just know they basically all have fleas and ticks, even little kittens. Humans can get both so be careful when handling them until they get treated or have a bath. I've had the privilege of de-fleaing a tiny kitten with dawn dish soap and a fine tooth comb. Took three baths to get him clean and he hated everyone.

briancarter That's a good idea for a day you didn't do your homework, just pick up a kitten on the way to class.

The_Impresario Professor here: we love the occasional distraction from having to teach a lecture. I love it when my students start asking questions about things in my field, even if only obliquely related to the course. I can talk for days about that sh. Bonus points if I wasn't actually prepared that day and was going to teach off the cuff.

MsWuMing Great. My heart just melted, and it's your fault. And this kitty's. And the adorable professor's.
