Carpenter builds stray kitty her own personal cat home from scratch, she loves it and moves in

This is just too adorable. 

As a stray cat, you have to pick your prey with caution. What if you choose the wrong owner and end up in a small studio apartment with a neglectful cat dad? Or someone who works all day every day? There's no saying who the person is when a cat chooses them, the only thing they can do is use their animal instincts. In the story below, the kitty chose a pretty good one. This kitty was smart and chose a carpenter. She came around slowly but regularly. She came around and around and eventually the guy decided to use his skills for the greater good and build her a cat house. He grabbed some scrap lumber from a dumpster at his work and built her an insulated home. It took a couple of weekends but he's really proud of his work. So next time she came around he got to show her her new flat. She took a little tour of the apartment. It's too adorable. He named her Penelope and the two will be neighbors!

  • I once wanted to be a carpenter. I just think it's a really useful job, and you can make anything. To be able to build with your hands is important for the long term. Maybe I will do it one day, but for now I'm fine with my desk job writing about cats.
